CRPF Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Qualification

CRPF Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The following steps will be used to choose the candidates who are qualified for the constable (technical and tradesman) positions being advertised by the CRPF Recruitment 2023. For their final selection, the candidates must pass each stage.

• Online Written Exam (CBT)
• Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Trade Test

Stage 1: Computer-based test (CBT): The online exam will consist of one paper with 100 questions, each worth one mark, and will last 120 minutes. Candidates will be shortlisted for the next round of the hiring process if they achieve a minimum passing score in the CBT exam as stated below:

• On the basis of their performance in the CBT, male and female candidates who qualify will be shortlisted by State/UT and category to move on to the next step of the hiring process.
• About eight times as many applicants will be selected for the PST/PET based on their performance in the CBT.

Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The candidate is evaluated for the physical standards test (PST), which includes height, chest, and weight measurements. Candidates who do not meet the required physical requirements will be disqualified.

There will be roughly two or three times as many applicants shortlisted for the Trade exam, Document Verification, and DME/RME as there are openings.

Stage 4: Trade Test: Those who passed the PST and PET will be invited to the next round of hiring, the Trade Test. For constable positions, a typing test is.
